Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of 01 Research Associate (RA) and 02 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the Niche Area of Excellence (NAE) Project entitled “Nutrition and Gut Health: Probiotics, Prebiotics and Phytogenics as Functional Foods to Augment Gut Health of Dogs” funded by ICAR, subject to terms and conditions in force in ICAR/IVRI for such engagements. The service of persons so engaged will be co-terminus with termination of the project or earlier without assigning any reasons thereof.

Research Associate (01)
23000 for Masters Degree holders
24000 for PhD Degree holders
MVSc or MSc in Biotechnology or Animal Nutrition or Biochemistry with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall OGPA with at least two years experience, OR
PhD degree in any of the above subjects
Experience (preferably in animal nutrition related ICAR/ DBT/DST funded projects) of molecular biology works related to animal nutrition; handling of livestock / pet / laboratory animals; use of analytical equipments like RTPCR, ELISA, HPLC and GLC etc.; proficiency in computer.
Senior Research Fellow (02)
16000 for 1st & 2nd year and 18000 for 3rd year for MSc degree holders 18000 for 1st & 2nd year and 20000 for 3rd year for MVSc degree holders
MVSc or MSc degree in Animal Nutrition or Animal Science or Biotechnology or Biochemistry Experience of analytical works related to animal nutrition; handling and management of pet dogs and laboratory animals, and analytical equipments like ELISA, HPLC and GLC etc. Good knowledge of computers including research data analysis
†Fixed remuneration per month; with additional HRA as admissible
The upper age limit as on the date of interview shall be 40 years for RA and 35 years for SRF. A relaxation of 5 years in case of women candidates applicable.
