Research Associate Position – Two Openings
Title of Project: Structural investigations of surface nano scale assembly in a gut bacterium
Duration: Initially for 1 year and may be extended on annual evaluation basis till the completion of the project.
Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in Natural Sciences, minimum 60% marks in M.Sc or equivalent degree and below 35 years of age.
Desirable qualifications: Prior experience at the PhD level in molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics/structural biology with a strong motivation for a career in
research is preferable. Strong PhD level training in recombinant protein cloning, expression, purification and macromolecular structure determination by x-ray crystallography would be desirable. Either/both qualifications should be substantiated by published papers.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Vengadesan Krishnan, Assistant Professor
Fellowship: Rs. 22,000/- p.m. + HRA @ 30%
