Applications are invited from eligible candidates to appear for walk in interview to work as Senior Research Fellow in a DBT funded Research Project entitled "Carbon sequestration from thermal power plant by metal tolerant cyanobacterial species".
Description: Increase of carbon dioxide besides methane and oxides of nitrogen in the atmosphere is leading to climate change. It is the increased demand for energy which underlies the projected increase in CO2 emissions. Carbon sequestration, capturing and storing carbon emitted from the global energy system, could be a major tool for reducing atmospheric CO2 emissions.
Stipend: Rs. 21,800/- consolidated per month.
Duration: Till the completion of project.
Eligibility: Academically good Master degree in Biotechnology/Environmental Sciences/Biochemistry with minimum 60% marks/equivalent grade with two years research experience.
Candidate with ICMR/CSIR/UGC-JRF or valid GATE Score will be given preference.
