Duration of the Project : For Sl.No.1 : 10 months from the date of appointment;

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

1. Sl. No. 1: The ideal applicant should have *M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry/Molecular biology or relevant field. The candidate must have qualified CSIR-NET and have at least 2-3 years of research experience. Scientific writing and oral presentation skill with a strong publication record in internationally reputed journals is essential. He/she is expected to have a strong base on basic molecular biology/cell biology/animal imaging experiments.

2. Sl. No. 2: 10+2 pass with past biology and animal laboratory experiences for at least 2 years. Previous experience in animal tissue culture and mouse handling ability is desired.

3. Sl. No. 3: Applicant should have *M.Sc./M.tech degree in Biophysics/ Biochemistry/bioengineering or relevant field. The candidate preferably have qualified CSIR-NET and have at least 2-3 years of research experience in confocal microscopy.

*M.Sc. degree obtained after a one year course will not be considered.

Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest.

Consolidated Salary:

For Sl. No. 1 & 3: Rs.23,400/- (Rs.18000+30% HRA)

For Sl. No. 2: Rs.10000/-

** Salary for selected candidate for Sl. No. 3 without NET will be as per DST guidelines.

The work progress of the candidate will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on satisfactory progress of the work.

The interviews would be held on 31-03-2015 and will be only for the pre-registered candidates.

In case the number of candidates with required qualification reporting for the Walk-in-Interview exceed 10 (for each position), a brief written test will be taken to select top 10 candidates for the interview. Interview will be restricted to top 10 candidates for each position advertised.

Candidates should report between 09.30 to 10.00 a.m. in Steno Pool, 3^rd floor, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for attending the interview. At the time of Interview the candidate should bring original certificates along with CV with contact details of 2 referees and submit the photocopies (attested) of the certificates, with a recent passport size photograph.
