One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is required for the Project entitled “Studies on Anti-thyroidal Biomolecules in Bamboo-shoots of North East and Evaluation of their Molecular and Physiological Actions in Thyroid Disruption” funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT) (Govt. of India) under the supervision of Prof. Amar K Chandra (Principal Investigator), Dr. Sreya Chattopadhyay (Co-Investigator), department of Physiology, University of Calcutta and Prof. Rina Ghosh (PI), Department of Chemistry, Jadavpur University. Tenure of the Project is about three years.

Eligibility: First class M.Sc. in Human Physiology / Life Sciences from a recognized University having experience of using laboratory animals for M.Sc. project work.

Preference will be given to students with NET / GATE / BET / BINC SLET / Professional course qualified.

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/- + HRA for NET / GATE / BET / BINC SLET per month for the 1st and 2nd year and @ Rs. 18,000 + HRA for the 3rd year.

Otherwise it shall be Rs. 12,000 + HRA for the 1st and 2nd year and @ Rs. 14,000 + HRA for the 3rd year.
