Applications are invited on plain paper for filling up temporary position of Project Fellow (II/III) and RA on contract basis, as per the following details:

Minimum prescribed educational Qualifications/experience 

(1) For PA-II B.E./B. Tech. (Chem. Eng.); M. Sc. (Chemistry/Biotech) with minimum 55% marks OR ME/M.Tech (Chem./ Environ/Biotech)- PA-III; with or without experience

Preference Candidates with excellent academic record, computer knowledge and with experience will be preferred.

Job requirement The project involves chemical engineering & process development work, especially in the areas of reactions, separation, wastewater treatment, recycle and reuse, pollution control methodologies for chemical and allied industries- specifically pertaining to dyes, fine chemicals, petroleum industry and distillery wastewater treatment. The work would involve laboratory and pilot plant experiments specifically pertaining to hydrodynamic cavitation and adsorptive separations apart from other separation processes. It would also involve reaction and process integration studies mainly using cavitation, adsorptive separation reaction approach and development of modified adsorbent/ new materials/ application of nanomaterials/material coating, characterization of materials and applications for process separations and effluent treatment.

Consolidated fixed emoluments per month Rs. 16000/- for PA-II; Rs. 18000/- for PA-III as per CSIR HRDG guideline

Age 28 for PA-II; 32 for PA-III * Age limit as shown above is relaxable by 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST community and 3 years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC community.

The engagement will be initially for a period of SIX months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.

Based on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates for interview to reasonable limits after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed in the advertisement.
