Applications are invited for the following in-house sanctioned Project Fellow posts
1. Taxonomic studies on the species described by N. A. Dalzell.
2. Phytochemical analysis (secondary metabolites) and study of antioxidant and anticancer potential
of Lobelia nicotianifolia.
Qualification: M.Sc. in Botany with at least 55% marks.
Desirable:
For the Project 1, students with plant taxonomy background will be preferred and for the
Project 2 students acquainted with phytochemical analysis, chromatographic techniques and different
bioassay preferred.
Tenure and Fellowship: Project 1 for 3 years (2018–2021) and Project 2 for 2.5 years (2018–2020);
Fellowship amount will be Rs 16,000 consolidated/month.
