The Government of Andhra Pradesh has established 4 IIITs under Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) in 2008 and 2016 to cater to the educational needs of the meritorious rural youth of Andhra Pradesh state. Every year 1000 students per campus are admitted into 6 year integrated Engineering course (2 years of PUC and 4 years of Engineering) and around 18000 students are being educated with help of 300 plus regular and contract faculty.
At present we require 300 plus more contract teaching faculty apart from existing faculty for teaching the students admitting this academic year in Ongole and Srikakulam and students entering into Engineering in all 4 institutes at Nuzvid, Krishna Dist., Idupulapaya, YSR Kadapa Dist., Yetcherla, Srikakulam Dist., and Ongole, Ongole Dist.
The RGUKT is inviting applications from eligible candidates for teaching positions in the prescribed format on contract basis for the AY 2018-19. These positions are purely temporary and shall be filled as per the norms followed by the Universities in the State Govt. of Andhra Pradesh including rule of reservation, designations and salary etc,.
1. Positions Required in
- Engineering departments: Civil Engg, Computer Sciences Engg, Chemical Engg, Electronics and Communication Engg, Mechanical Engg, Materials and Metallurgical Engg.
- Sciences: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
- Humanities and Social Sciences: English, Telugu, Management, Fine Arts, Yoga, Psychology, Physical Education, Library Science and other Social Science subjects.
2. Period of Contract
These positions are purely temporary and carry consolidated emoluments without any allowances. The initial term of appointment will be for a period of one academic year and extendable for a further period subject to satisfactory performance and requirement.
