The following posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis from willing eligible candidates for the
ad-hoc research project titled “Impact Evaluation of Antiretroviral Therapy (IE-ART) under
NACO” implemented by this institute.
Place for walk-in: at NCDIR, Bengaluru
Name of the post Project Technical Assistant (Field Investigator)
Place of posting Karnataka and Kerala (ART centres are yet to be decided)
Note: The candidate is required to work in Karnataka and Kerala at the
respective ART Centres as per the directions of Principal Investigator of
the project.
Number of posts 3 (Three) – UR-1, SC-1, OBC-1
Essential qualification Graduate in science from a recognized university with three years’ work
experience from a recognized institution in life science
OR
Master’s Degree in Life Science preferably Microbiology/Biotechnology/
Bacteriology/Biochemistry
Desirable qualification Work experience in ART Centers/HIV AIDS Research; Should be able to
write and speak Kannada and/or Malayalam
Age limit Not exceeding 30 years*
*Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and OBC candidates as per GOI
norms (OBC candidates will have to produce NCL certificate as per GOI format).
Emoluments Consolidated salary Rs. 29,565/- p m
Nature of Duties Qualitative interviews, secondary data collection & review and systematic
classification. Travelling will be required for field data collection
Duration of contract Initially for a period of six months but likely to be extended
