Applications are invited from the women candidates only for the position of Project Fellow (PF) to
work in DBT-Collaborative Major research Project entitled “Identification of Thermo-tolerant bivoltine
breeds based on expression of heat shock protein coding genes in Silkworm, Bombyx mori L."
Qualifications: M.Sc., Life Sciences / M.Sc Biotechnology
Desirable:
1. Wet lab techniques pertaining to Isolation of Biomolecules, r-DNA technology and Bioassays.
2. Dry lab techniques/Primer designing / tools pertaining to Gene/Protein sequence analysis,
clustering, Restriction digestion mapping, Gene structure-function predictions.
3. Efficient Computational and Communicational skills.
Fellowship: Rs. 18,000/-
Duration : 3 Years
The position of this fellowship is purely temporary. The fellowship ends along with the project.
