InStem Gene Editing Postdoc Vacancy


Post-doctoral Fellow with the Tata Institute of Genetics and Society, inStem, Bangalore, Karnataka 

To be part of a team of scientists working on gene editing in mammalian stem cells.  

Requirements: Experience of working in a world class research environment and ideally must have extensive experience in project design and data analysis with expertise in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology. Should have meticulous lab practices, excellent time-management skills and the ability to work unsupervised. Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work well in a team (that includes post-doctoral scientists, graduate students and laboratory support staff). Must have excellent writing and verbal skills in English. 

Essential Qualifications and Experience: 

Qualification: Ph. D in a relevant area of Biology, preferably (but not limited to) Stem Cell Biology, Cell Signaling, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology etc. 

Experience Required: Must have completed a Ph.D. Should be well versed in one or more of the following: Molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, cell biology, genetics, developmental biology, cell culture.
