3. Scientist-B (Non-Medical)
Laboratory Scientist
(Microbiologist) -2 Posts
(UR-1, OBC-1)
Ist class Master’s degree in Biochemistry/
Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biological Science
from a recognized University Or 2nd Class M.Sc +
Ph.D degree in
Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/
Biological Science from a recognized University.
Desirable qualifications:
(i) Doctorate Degree in relevant science or MD in
the related subject from a recognized university for
candidates with first class relevant degree
(ii)
Additional Post doctoral research/teaching
experience in relevant subjects in recognized
institute(s)
(iii) Knowledge of Computer
Applications or Business Intelligence tools/ Data
Management
(iv) Two years R&D/Teaching
experience in relevant subject after obtaining
essential qualification.

To establish and monitor the
laboratory under the supervision
of in-charge for conducting
various pathological,
microbiological and biochemical
analysis on biological samples
and generate reports.
Plan and execute research
relevant to health problems of the
region and present reports.

Research Assistant
(Laboratory)-1 Post (UR)
Graduate in Bio Science from a recognized
university with one year DMLT course or graduate
with three relevant experience in the lower grade or
three year field/ lab experience from a recognized
institution.
*M.Sc/B.E./B.Tech degree shall be treated equal to
2 years exp.
Not exceeding 30 years.

Graduate in Bio Science from a recognized
university with one year DMLT course or three
years diploma in engineering (in relevant discipline)
from a recognized institution or graduate with one
year relevant experience in the lower grade or one
year field/ lab experience from a recognized
institution.
Not exceeding 30 years.
