Walk-In-Interview will be conducted for following purely project based temporary position at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute. The candidate with adequate qualifications and appropriate experience in relevant subject/specialization with good academic records may appear for Walk-In-Interview on 26 November, 2018 at 10:00 AM onwards. Desirous candidate may forward an advance copy of the application to the Administrative Officer by e-mail (os@gbpihed.nic.in) clearly mentioning the position applied for. Candidates appearing for Interview should bring original copies (with xerox copy) of testimonials, biodata, publications etc along with an application. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the Interview.

Research Associate (01 No.); @36,000/month + HRA

Age Limit - 35 years 

Ph.D. with Masters degree in Botany/Forestry/Biotechnology/Environmental Sciences with research publications in impact factor journals. Candidates having M. Tech. degree in relevant subject with three years experience (after M. Tech.) will also be considered. 

Research experience in field conditions in the Himalayan region; Candidate should possess analytical capabilities, computer proficiency, and motivation for research 

Conduct Field Research, Analysis, Synthesis, Database Development and Report Writing, Presentation in the review and other meetings.

Project Assistant (01 No.); @10,000/month + HRA; initially for one year extendable on performance basis 

Upper Age Limit - 35 years 

 Graduate from recognized University 

 Assistance in field surveys, restoration model development and community mobilization for participation

Research Associate (01 No.); @36,000/month + HRA 

Upper Age Limit - 35 years 

Doctoral degree with Masters degree in Botany/Forestry/ Environmental Sciences/Wildlife Sciences/Biodiversity and research publications in impact factor journals. 

Research experience in database development and data management on biodiversity of Himalaya and field experience of working in mountain regions 

Field exploration on high value plant species and documentation in Indian Himalayan Region Data compilation, analysis, synthesis of results, data base development and report writing. 

Laboratory/Field Assistant (01 No.); @12,000/- fixed p.m. 

Upper Age Limit - 35 years 

Graduate degree from recognized University Experience of field surveys in Himalaya Assistance in field surveys, Laboratory assistance, data compilation and analysis of data 

Relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. of India norms.
