The Head, Division of Plant Physiology, ICAR-IARI New Delhi intend to recruit the outstanding personnel for
following posts in the DBT funded “Indo-UK centre for Improvement of nitrogen efficiency in wheat
(INEW)” and NASF-ICAR funded “Understanding the mechanisms of tolerance to low light intensity in

Essential:
1) First class Post-graduate degree in
Agriculture (Crop Physiology/Genetics
/Agronomy), Biotechnology/ Botany/
Life Sciences (preferably plant science)
from a recognized University with
NET/MHRD-GATE qualification OR
Post Graduate degree in relevant
Professional courses. Those with 3
years bachelors’ degree must have
UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/SET or
equivalent qualification conducted by
UGC-MHRD.
2) Two years research experience post
Master’s degree
Desirable: Experience in working with field
crops, handling instrument like IRGA, root
imaging, tissue nutrient analysis. Data
analysis and interpretation, report writing.
