WALK IN TEST FOR SELECTION OF SPICES EXTENSION TRAINEES (SET) 

Exclusively for Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe Candidates 

Spices Board proposes to select 'Spices Extension Trainees' exclusively for SC & ST candidates for training in Board's offices at Sikkim and West Bengal through a walk-in-test. 

Educational Qualification: B.Sc (Agriculture / Horticulture) or B.Sc (Botany/Zoology / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Forestry) with working knowledge in computer. 

No of Trainees required for each state: Sikkim -10, West Bengal - 04 

Eligible: 1) The upper age limit should not exceed 35 years as on 01.11.2018. 2) Those who have been engaged earlier as SET/OTA in Spices Board are not eligible to apply. 

Tenure: Up to 31.3.2019 initially and which may be extended for one more year. 

Stipend: Rs.17,000/- per month. In case of travel to spices field, TA will be paid as per rules.

 Leave eligibility: 1 day per month.

Eligible SC/ ST candidates may appear for the Walk in Test along with resume/bio-data, recent passport size photo, original certificates and one set of self attested copies of certificates (Proof for age, education, caste certificate and experience if any) on the prescribed date in the venue.’ No TA/ DA will be given to candidates who attend the walk-in-test.
