Applications are invited from deserving and suitable candidates for the post of Project Fellow (06) and Junior Research fellow (01) at Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development, Sikkim Centre on contract basis under various research programmes:

1 Project Fellow (6 no.)

Rs. 12,000 plus HRA

First Class Master Degree in Life Sciences/Botany/ Biotechnology/ Horticulture/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Food Science and related field

To perform research activities on microbial and plant bioresources of Sikkim

2 Junior Research fellow

Rs. 25,000 plus HRA/ month for Masters in Basic Science with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course For Non NET candidate Rs. 12,000 plus HRA for holding Masters degree only

First Class master degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Medical Biotechnology.

To perform research activities on bioactive compounds in food samples and medicinal plants

Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment either in IBSD and its branches or DBT, New Delhi. Candidates should produce all the original certificates/testimonials at the time of Interview. No T.A./ D.A. shall be paid for appearing in for the interview. Applications should reach to the Administrative Officer, Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development, Sikkim Centre, Near Metro Point, Tadong - 737102, Sikkim within three (03) weeks from the date of advertisement.
