Application invited for the selection of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on temporary basis in the project entitled “Uncovering: A new paradigm on Microbial auxin provoked ROP GTPase signaling in desiring trade-off between development, defense & pathogenesis in Arabidopsis thaliana" sanctioned by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.


Name of the Fellowship : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Post : One

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. with First class in Microbiology and NET qualified

Desirable : Previous Research experience in Handling Microscopes, Bacterial Culturing Techniques and Proficiency in Standard Laboratory practices.

Preference will be given to the candidate having prior work experience in sectioning of plant samples, Anatomical studies & Arabidopsis thaliana handling techniques.



Fellowship Amount : Rs.25, 000/- + 10 % HRA P.M (consolidated) M.Sc. degree holders who do not have NET certification will be eligible for 16,000/- + 10% HRA p.m.

Age : Below 28 years (Relaxation as per GoI norms).

Duration : Three Year
