IARI Microscopy/FISH JRF Vacancy to Work on Chromosomal localization

Eligible candidates are invited to attend Walk-In-Interview to be held at Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi for the recruitment of Junior Research fellow purely on contractual basis in the externally funded project of DBT on 29th April, 2019. Details of the post are as follows: 

1 Junior Research Fellow in DBT funded project entitled “Chromosomal localization and fine mapping of Aegilops speltoides Tausch derived novel leaf rust resistance in bread wheat stock Selection 2427

Rs. 31000/- + 24 % HRA for first and second years; Rs. 38000/- + 24 % HRA for third year (As per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z08/2018 dated 30.01.2019) 

Essential Qualification: Post graduate degree in Genetics/Plant breeding/ Genetics & Plant breeding/ Biotechnology/ Botany/Life Sciences or allied subjects with first division/ 60% marks/ equivalent overall grade point average along with NET/GATE qualification. 

Candidates in Category-II merit list of DBT-BET exam can also apply. OR Post graduate degree in professional courses related with discipline of Life Sciences with first division/ 60% marks/ equivalent overall grade point average 

Desirable Qualification: Research experience in microscopy and Fluorescence in situ hybridization
