Technical Assistant for ICMR Project

Applications are invited for one post of Technical Assistant @ Rs15,000 p.m for the ICMR funded project entitled “Development of a kit for early detection of Cancer” (2017-4560), for a period of three years. The post is purely temporary and co- terminus with the project.

Essential qualification: Candidate must have M.Sc. degree in any branch of Biological Science subjects with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates who have qualified in the CSIR-NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/UGC-JRF/GATE will be preferred. Selected candidates can enroll themselves for the PhD pogram of the institute. A good academic record, inquisitiveness to do science, hard working, honest, good team player and skills in some of the techniques such as immunoflourescence, cell culture, PCR/qRT-PCR, Western blot, primer design and flow cytometry with a brief knowledge on DNA replication is desirable. Candidate should be hard working, able to meet deadlines, have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and have some experience using Adobe Illustrator/Corel Draw.
