Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post in the SERB funded project entitled "Characterization of candidate homeobox gene associated regulatory network involved in abiotic stress responses"at School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Junior Research Fellow (one post): Post graduate degree (with minimum of 55% marks) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology or any other related field with relevant research experience. The candidate having experience in advanced molecular biology techniques and/or computer skills with experience in NGS data analysis will be given preference.
The position is completely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The fellowship will be as per sanction in the project and/or SERB rules. The initial appointment will be for six months/one year, which can be extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on the qualification/experience depending on the total number of applications received. JNU may select candidate against the above posts depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.

Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post in the DBT funded project entitled "Genomic Resources for Mulberry: Indian Mulberry Nuclear Genome Sequencing"at School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Research Associate (one post):Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or related field. The candidate should have good academic record and a relevant research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals. It will be an advantage to have experience in the area of NGS data analysis/advanced molecular biology, genomics techniques and/or bioinformatics.
