KFRI Molecular Biology/Botany Project Walk Ins 2019 June


A walk-in interview to fill the post of Project Fellow & Project Assistant to join a time-bound research programme on "Genome wide and geospatial approaches for enhancing the adaptive potential of threatened rattan resources in India. " will be held at 10.00 am onward on 13 June 2019, at KFRI . Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criterion mentioned below are invited to attend the interview. Please bring testimonials in original. 




1. Project Assistant -1 

Project KFRI/RP 768/2019 : Genome wide and geospatial approaches for enhancing the adaptive potential of threatened rattan resources in India. 

Essential qualification : First class Degree in Botany. 

Desirable : Experience in plant sample collections from forest areas 

Duration : 3 years 

Fellowship : Rs.19,000/- per Month. 

Age As on 01.01.2019, 36 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given

2. Project Fellow - 1 

Project KFRI/ RP768/2019 : Genome wide and geospatial approaches for enhancing the adaptive potential of threatened rattan resources in India. 

Essential qualification : First class M.Sc.in Biotechnology /Botany preferably CSIR/GATE qualified  
Desirable : Experience in molecular population genetics,genomics,trascriptomics & sequence analysis 

 Duration : 3 Years 

 Fellowship : Rs.22,000/- 

Age As on 01.01.2019, 36 years. Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given
