A Walk-In-Interview is proposed to be conducted on 01.07.2019 at 9.00 AM – 10.00 A.M. to
fill up the following posts on Temporary basis under the NIIH. The verification will be only
from 9.00 A.M. to 10.00 A.M. and the Interview/Examination will follow at 11.00 A.M.
Candidates who fulfil the requisite qualification and wish to appear for the Walk-inInterview/examination can download the format given in the website. Duly filled in
application along with the excel sheet (both may be downloaded from the website) should be
emailed to estniih1310@gmail.com or before 26.06.2019. The candidate are also required to
bring their application along with original certificates and a copy of attested certificates on
the day of interview for verification.
A) Under the project ‘Establishing the advanced centre for diagnosis and management
of primary Immunodeficiency Disorders (PID) ’’
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (ONE) (NON MEDICAL)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
ESSENTIAL : Ph.D. in Applied Biology / Biotechnology/Biochemistry/
Microbiology or M.Sc. in 3 years after M.Sc. research experience
in Molecular Biology techniques.
DESIRABLE : Research experience in Flocytometry and cell culture experiments.
AGE LIMIT : The upper age limit is 35 years as on 1st June, 2019
STIPEND: :Rs.36000 pm + HRA 10800
B) Harnessing pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) technology for understanding the
pathophysiology and management of human primary immunodeficiency Disorders.
SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW: (1 Post) (SC)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL M.Sc. in Life Science / Microbiology / Genetics / Molecular
Biotechnology / Biochemistry with NET qualification with 2 years
research experience.
DESIRABLE : Experience in Molecular Biology.
AGE : Below 28 years
STIPEND : Rs. 28,000 + 30% HRA.
C) Project funded by DBT entitled “ Incidence of Imatinib resistance and associated BCRABL kinase domain mutations among Chronic Myeloid Leukemia patients in North East
Indian population".
SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (1 Post)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL : 1st class in post graduate degree in basic Sciences (Life Science/
Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Microbiology) with NET qualification and 2
years
research experience. The candidates experience in Molecular Biology
will be preferred.
DESIRABLE : Experience in Molecular Biology.
AGE : The upper age limit is 28 years as on 1st June, 2019.
STIPEND : Rs. 28,000 + 30% HRA.
EMOLUMENTS :Rs. 28000/- + HRA. (SRF without NET Qualification may be
considered on an emoluments of Rs.14000/-+ HRA.)
D) Under the project ‘‘Assessing the role of micro RNA in clinical severity of Thalassemia
patients, and in hydroxyurea mediated HbF induction. ’’

preferably from a reputed Government Research Institute /
University.
DESIRABLE : Experience in Haemoglobinopathies and working knowledge in the
tribal areas.
STIPEND : Rs.28.000/- + 30 % HRA
AGE : Not exceeding 30 Years.
EMOLUMENTS :Rs. 25000/-pm + HRA (JRF without NET Qualification may be
considered on an emoluments of Rs.12000/-+ HRA.)
