Symposium on
Endophytes and their
Applications in Agriculture

As a part of the ICAR’s programme on Next Generation Technologies for Adaptive Agriculture (under
the World Bank sponsored ICAR-CAAST programme), a Symposium on ‘Endophytes and their
Applications in Agriculture’ is being organized at the University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK,
Bengaluru from 24 to 26 September 2019. The following thematic areas would be addressed:
Endophyte Biology, Endophytes and Plant Growth, Endophytes and Stress Adaptations in Plants,
Endophytes and Metabolites, Plant–Endophyte Interactions and Applications of Endophytes in
Agriculture. The Symposium will host invited talks by eminent national and international scientists as
well as contributed oral and poster presentations.
Call for abstracts: Interested participants from India and abroad may register and send in their
abstracts in the thematic areas mentioned above. The details regarding registration and abstract
submission are available at http://ngtcaast.org. The last date for the registration and submission of
abstracts is 31 July 2019.
Participants can also avail of spot registration, but this is not guaranteed.
