Applications are invited in plain paper along with two sets of Biodata and all testimonials duly attested
for one position of either Project Fellow or Project Associate –I or, Project Associate –II for a period
of one year, may be expended up to three years (Project Fellow: Rs 14,000/ pm + admissible HRA,
after 2 years in the scale of Rs 16,000/ pm + admissible HRA), (Project Associate–I: 25,000/pm +
admissible HRA, Project Associate –II: Rs 28,000+ Admissible HRA) in the UGC–DAE sponsored
project entitled on “Augmentation of radiation induced oxidative stress in radiosensitive and
radioresistant tumour cells by Anthocyanins from coloured Phytochemicals”.
Candidates are requested to appear in a walk-in-interview along with two set of applications:
on July 18th at 11.00 AM in the office of the Secretary,
UCSTA, University of Calcutta, 92 APC Road, Kolkata- 700 009.

Project Fellow
Rs 14,000/pm + HRA
2
nd class MSc with a min of 55% marks in any
branch of Life Sciences
Rs 16,000/pm + HRA
After 2 years as a project fellow, if the research
work is found satisfactory on assessment (by a 3
member expert committee with an external
member) with at least one research paper in a
reputed journal of the work done under this project.
Project Associate –I
Rs 25,000/pm +HRA

nd class MSc with a min of 55% marks in any
branch of Life Sciences + NET-LS (UGC-CSIR
joint test)/GATE/SLET
Project Associate –II
Rs 28,000 pm+ HRA
After 2 years as a PA-I if the research work found
satisfactory with at least one research paper in a
reputed journal
