Nitte University Biochemistry/Molecular Biology JRF Opening

• Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), to work in the ICMR project at the K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Deralakatte, Mangaluru. 
  
  Eligibility: Master's degree in any branch of Life Science (Biosciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology/ Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Genetics or equivalent degrees) with at least 60% marks. Candidates who are NET qualified will be preferred. 
  
  Title of the project: A novel dietary approach for foetal programming of major chronic disorders in adult life using Albino Wistar Rats. 
  
  Principal Investigator: Dr. Damodar Gowda K.M 
  
  Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA 
  
  Desirable qualification: Experience with handling rats, animal behavioral studies, expertise with biochemical and molecular techniques preferred. 
  
  Duration: Three years. Candidates will be evaluated at the end of each year for continuation and is co-terminus with the project.
