One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is available in the Omics of Algae Group (GOA), ICGEB,
New Delhi. The position is available initially for one year with further extensions based upon
performance.
Title of the project: “Microalgal Cell Factories, A Platform for High-Value Added Products to
Improve Economics of the Biorefinery”, funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of
Science & Technology, GoI, New Delhi, India.

Required qualifications and experience:
1. Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (OR) Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional
Course.
2. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship
(Assistant Professorship)/DBT-JRF/GATE will be given preference.
3. Experience in handling algal strains is preferred.
Please note the position is temporary project position and the duration is only for the tenure of the
DBT-funded project.
