There is an opening for a project assistant in Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Kolkata. The project aims to provide a sustainable solution for biofuel generation in plants, avoiding the ‘food-vs-fuel’ debate. Successful candidates will be exposed to molecular biology, plant genetic engineering, and plant tissue culture techniques. The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of two years.
Candidates with M.Sc./ M. Tech. in any branch of Biological Sciences with 60% marks or Equivalent grade from UGC-recognized University can apply for this position, however, prior experience in plant tissue culture will be preferred.
