Candidate will assist in field research on ecology and conservation biology on Ganga ecosystem 

1B.1 Aquatic Botanist

Experience in aquatic habitat monitoring/ wildlife research/ conservation

1B.2 Wildlife Biologist (Fish) 2

Candidate will manage rescue and rehabilitation programme.. 

1C.2 Project Associate Grade I (Veterinary) 1

Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science with minimum of 60% aggregate marks and ≥2 years of experience in subjects related to wildlife science or Master’s degree in Veterinary Science. Experience of rescue and rehabilitation or veterinary practices or teaching and research. 

Candidate will assist in managing rescue and rehabilitation programme. 

Component 2: Capacity Building of Forest Department and Other Stakeholders 

2.1 Assistant Training Coordinator

32,000 Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science/ Forestry /Botany/Zoology/ Environmental Science/Humanities/ Social Science, with >3 years of experience after Master’s degree in the relevant field. Experience of fieldwork on Biodiversity/ wildlife conservation. Also, experience in organizing and conducting training programmes and report writing. 

Candidate will organize and conduct training workshops and will liaison with the stakeholders. 

2.2 Project Assistant

20,000 Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/ Economics/ Humanities/ Social Science, and related subjects with ≥1 year of experience in relevant field. 

Experience in conducting workshops, training programme and report writing. 

Candidate will assist in organizing and conducting training workshops. 

Component 3- Section A: community based aquatic species conservation 

3A.1 Project Fellow

32,000 Master's degree with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Wildlife Science / Forestry /Environmental Science / Environmental Management / Botany / Zoology / Life Science/ Economics/ Sociology/ Political science with ≥1 year of experience after the award of master’s degree. 

Experience in conducting social survey and stakeholder analysis; ability to work in harsh field conditions. 

Candidate will assist in organizing meetings. Conduct the survey and stakeholders meetings. 

3A.3 Project Assistant

20,000 Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/ Economics/ Humanities/ Social Science, and related subjects Experience in conducting social survey and stakeholder analysis 

Candidate will conduct social surveys.
