CMFRI Marine Biology/Zoology JRF Walk IN

Eligible candidates are requested to appear for a walk-in Interview for recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and one Field Assistant/Worker under the project entitled “Developing a New Candidate Species for Mariculture: Marine Finfish John's Snapper, Lutjanus johnii”. The engagements are purely temporary on contractual basis and will be liable for termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance. There will be no provision for absorption / re-employment in ICAR / CMFRI after termination of the time-bound project. 

Essential Qualification: M.F.Sc. or M.Sc. in Marine Biology / Zoology/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Aquaculture / Life Sciences; UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET 

Desirable The candidate should be seaworthy and have experience in live fish handling. 

Age limit 35 years for men and 40 years for women (age relaxation applicable for OBC/SC/ST candidates as per GOI norms)

Emolument Rs. 31,000/- +HRA per month in the first two years and Rs. 35,000+ HRA for third year 

Place of work Visakhapatnam Regional Centre of Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute 

Eligible candidates for the above mentioned position may appear for a walk-in interview at Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Pandurangapuram, Visakhapatnam– 530003 along with all original certificates and attested copies of the same on 10.02.2020 at 11:00AM. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Scientist-in-Charge
