Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for one JRF position in a Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, India approved Project entitled "Small RNA sequencing and characterization at defined floral tissue stages of Bambusa tulda: a rarely flowering bamboo of commercial importance” in the Laboratory of Dr. Malay Das, Department of Life Sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata. 

Project detail: "Small RNA sequencing and characterization at defined floral tissue stages of Bambusa tulda: a rarely flowering bamboo of commercial importance” 

Salary: Rs. 31,000 pm plus HRA (as per university norms) 

Essential Qualification: The candidate must have good academic record with at least first class Masters degree in any branch of Life Sciences from recognized University and must have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET with at least NET (LS). 

Maximum age maximum 28 years. 

Desirable Qualification: Research interests/experience in molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry and basic knowledge in Plant Biology is essential.
