Applications in plain paper with full bio-data and self-attested copies of educational qualifications are
invited from the eligible Indian Nationals for recruitment of Four (04) Project Fellows for executing
advanced research works in different Departments of Siksha-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati
Essential Qualification :
For Project Fellows, M. Sc. in Mathematics/Statistics/ Zoology/Environmental Science
/(Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/ Biology for Integrated Science Centre) with minimum of 55% marks in
the relevant subject.
Stipend: Rs. 10,000/- per month (Consolidated) for Project Fellows
Age: Maximum 28 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules).
Tenure: Initially for one year and extendable up to a period of another two years or subjected to the
satisfactory performance and availability of the fund from DST, New Delhi
The Project Fellows may enroll for Ph. D. programs as per the norms and rules of Visva-Bharati. Selection
of candidates does not guarantee for enrollment of Ph. D. programs.
The decision of the selection committee is final at any point of time of the selection process.
The Project fellows in addition to his research works have to undertake the responsibility to perform
official works, to operate different sophisticated instruments procured under DST PURSE program. The
application (hard copy) must reach to Prof. Pranab Sarkar, Coordinator, DST-PURSE, Department of
Chemistry, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, 731235 within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this
advertisement. No TA/DA is admissible to the candidate who will be called for interview.
