Senior Research Fellow — 1 position

Project Title: “Development of Electronic Urinal”.

Funded By: Life Science Research Board, DRDO, Govt. of India

Project Coordinator: Dr. Abhilasha Singh Mathuriya; Sharda University, Greater Noida, UP (NCR).

Age limitation: 32 Years; Age relaxation: According to Govt. of India rules.

Duration of the project: One year

Fellowship: As per DRDO norms (Rs. 35,000+ 8% HRA per month)

Essential Qualification:

(i) M.Sc. in Environmental Science or Biotechnology from recognized University / Institute OR B.E. / B. Tech.  / M.E. / M. Tech. (Biotechnology / Environmental Engineering/ Chemical Engineering) with 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university/institute. Minimum 02 years of experience in the field of wastewater treatment/biodigester/biogas plant/bioenergy.  

(ii) NET / GATE / some other pertinent equivalent of test qualified.

Desirable: Knowledge and experience in wastewater treatment plants and electrochemical purification of water.

Job Requirement: The incumbent may be required to go overseas for some time. The project will also involve some field sampling and surveys of wastewater treatment plants.

Tenure of Fellowship: Initially 3 months, renewable upto maximum 01 year based on satisfactory performance, but in no case beyond the cessation of funding or operation of this project by the project financing agency, whichever is earlier.
