Technical Assistant 

Division : Biochemical Sciences Division (National Collection Of Industrial Micro-Organisms (NCIM)) 

Essential Educational Qualification & Experience : 1st Class B.Sc. (Science) with one year full time Professional qualification or one year experience in the discipline of Microbiology from a recognized Institute/Organization.

Desirable Qualification and Experience : M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science with 55% Marks with minimum 1 year experience of working in well recognized Microbiology laboratory with reference to advanced techniques in microbial identification. 

The selected candidate will be involved in performing microbial identification and characterization using polyphasic tools, long-term preservation, supply and maintenance of microbial cultures in the repository.

Technical Assistant 

Division : Organic Chemistry Division (OCD) 

Essential Educational Qualification & Experience : 1st Class B.Sc. (Science) with one year full time professional qualification or one year experience in the discipline of Zoology from a recognized Institute/Organization. 

Desirable Qualification and Experience : M.Sc. (Zoology) with specialization in Entomology having experience in conducting bioassays on toxicity of synthetic molecules. Candidate must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills and computer literacy. 

Job Specification : The selected candidate would be responsible for maintenance of various household and agricultural pests and will also be responsible for the design and execution of bioassays on bioefficacy and persistency of molecules for control of household pests besides assisting scientists in data analysis and project activities. Experience in handling analytical equipments (Gas Chromatograph) would be preferred.

Essential Educational Qualification & Experience : SSC/10th standard with science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI certificate or national/ state trade certificate or 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in the trade of Desk Top Publishing Operator. 

Desirable Qualification and Experience : Minimum 1 year in experience handling recognized office in public or private sector. 

Job Specification : To do the routine quote and invoice preparation, maintaining the office data of culture supply, do the microbial data updates, receipt and dispatch of microbial cultures, attending the microbial related queries in the office.
