Applications are invited from suitable candidates (only Female) for one position of Research Assistant in an ICMR funded research project entitled “Identification and functional characterization of circRNAs to speculate their potential roles in various forms of cancer” in the Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Banasthali Vidyapith, P.O. Banasthali, Rajasthan.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. or M. Tech in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology or Allied Sciences with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from UGC recognized University/Institute.
Strong Background in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology with programming skills in Python & R are highly recommended.
Experiences in Genomic/ Transcriptomic data analyses are desirable.
AGE: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the last date of receipt of application. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Govt. of India rules.
FELLOWSHIP AMOUNT: Consolidated fellowship of Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees Thirty-one thousand only) per month which may be revised from 2nd Year as per the norms of ICMR.
DURATION: Initially for a period of one year, extendable up to three year or till the completion of the project depending upon satisfactory performance, whichever is earlier.
