Applications are invited from suitable candidates for JRF position to work on the project “Deciphering the role of gut microbiota-derived cholesterol derivatives in influencing the function of macrophages: Implications in colon cancer", under the supervision of Dr. Trinath Jamma, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus, Hyderabad 

Title of the project: Deciphering the role of gut microbiota-derived cholesterol derivatives in influencing the function of macrophages: Implications in colon cancer Funding: 2 years (Intramural/OPERA) 

Fellowship amount: Own Fellowship Only Students with OWN FELLOWSHIP (DBT, ICMR, CSIR, UGC, etc.) are eligible to apply 

Desirable: M. Sc. with 1st Class in Biochemistry/Life Sciences (from recognized university). A prior experience in mammalian cell culture, fluorescence imaging, biochemical techniques and molecular biology.
