Walk-in-Interview CSIR – North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, a constituent establishment of CSIR, is a multidisciplinary institute having research areas like Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Materials Sciences, Engineering Sciences and Geological Sciences, etc. This institute is equipped with sophisticated state-of-art analytical and other equipment to carry out research activities in frontier areas of science & technology. Presently a large number of research activities are being carried out in CSIR and externally funded projects. Now, there is a requirement of Project manpower with the following specialization:

1 31-03-2023 Senior Project Associate = 03 nos. 

Project Title: CSIR – Aroma Mission Phase II 

Essential Qualification: PhD in Agricultural Science / Botany / Biotechnology / Plant Breeding & Genetics / Agronomy OR MSc in Agricultural Science / Botany / Biotechnology / Plant Breeding & Genetics / Agronomy with minimum four years of R&D experience in the area of medicinal & aromatic plants. [Max Age: 40 yrs] 

Desirable: Experience in Medicinal & Aromatic plants and NET(JRF / LS) 

Remuneration: Rs. 42,000/- (+ 8% HRA)

Project Title: CSIR – Floriculture Mission 

Essential Qualification: PhD in Agricultural Science / Botany / Biotechnology / Plant Breeding & Genetics / Agronomy / Horticulture OR MSc in Agricultural Science / Botany / Biotechnology / Plant Breeding & Genetics / Agronomy / Horticulture with minimum four years of R&D experience in the area of floriculture / horticulture / Medicinal & aromatic plants. [Max Age: 40 yrs] 

Desirable: NET(JRF / LS) 

Remuneration: Rs. 42,000/- (+ 8% HRA)

Remuneration: Rs. 42,000/- (+ 8% HRA)

Essential Qualification: 1st class M Sc in Botany / Biotechnology / Plant Breeding & Genetics / Agronomy with minimum two years experience in the area of Medicinal & Aromatic plants [Max Age: 35 yrs] 

Desirable: Experience in Medicinal & Aromatic plants and NET(JRF / LS) 

Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- for NET and Rs.28,000/- per month for others (+ 8% HRA)

Desirable: NET(JRF / LS) 

Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- for NET and Rs.25,000/- per month for others (+ 8% HRA)
