Qualification and experience as per MoE guidelines (F. No.12-2/2019-U1 dated January 31, 2019), F. No. 51- 07/2019-TS.VII (VoI. -Il) dated October 04, 2019 or as per the guidelines of the funding agency 

Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Period of engagement 6 months (Extendable based on performance and continued funding) 

Fellowship/Remuneration per month (₹) As per DST-SERB norms and IISER Berhampur Rules and Regulations. The current consolidated fellowship is ₹47,000 + HRA* * HRA as per city of Berhampur Job requirement 

The position is available in the recently established laboratory of Cellular Metabolism headed by Dr. Vinay Bulusu. The laboratory’s focus is to understand metabolic regulation in embryonic development and diseases such as cancer. The current project focuses on the development of a genetically encoded fluorescent sensor to detect TMPRSS2 activity at subcellular resolution. 

The candidate is expected to have some prior experience in protein biochemistry, cell culture and imaging.
