A walk-In Interview for temporary post on contractual basis has been scheduled to be held
on 16/04/2021 at 11.00 AM in the Conference Hall of the Department of Forestry, NorthEastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh for Two
posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and one posts of Field Assistant in the DBT
sponsored project under DBT’s NER Citrus Programme.
The title of the project is “Use of
non-toxic nanoformulations for prolonging shelf life and reduction of postharvest loss of
mandarin orange (Citrus reticulata) of North East India”. The duration of the project is
three years. Details of the eligibility criteria for different posts along with the monthly
emoluments are given below:
Post Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Monthly Emoluments: ₹ 31,000/- + HRA @ 8% for first two years and ₹
35,000/- + HRA @ 8% for third year (Consolidated)

1. JRF I
st Class M.Sc./M. Tech in
Biotechnology/Microbiology/
Botany/ Life Sciences/ Food
Sciences.
Candidates with experience in
nanotechnology/ Food
preservation have been given
preference.
2. JRF I
st Class M. BA. Experience in field
works (Will be deputed to work at
NERAMAC, Guwahati)
Candidates with experience in
marketing/ field survey.
3. Field
Assistant
B.Sc. in Biotechnology/
Microbiology / Botany/ Life
Sciences
Experience in field data
collections.
