We are happy to announce that the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Biotechnology, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore is organizing a Two day virtual International Conference on “Innovations and trends in drug discovery – ITDD’21” 31^st March & 1^st April, 2021.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Engineering, organizing a Virtual International conference on Innovation and trends in drug discovery (IITDD’21), mainly focuses on students, faculty members, academicians, industrial experts, researchers and entrepreneurs. As the need for more targeted drug therapies has increased and drug development has become more complex. Adoptation of Artificial intelligence, phenotypic screening, expanding chemical space for drug discovery, the pharma industry has seen a corresponding rise in the number of molecules with low solubility challenges. In light of this challenge, drug development experts must look to new technologies and methods to proactively address the challenges and ensure effective treatments are reaching patients in need. Some deepening interest in precision medicine, antibiotic discovery and artificial intelligence has improved the field of drug discovery and development. The Drug Discovery and Development brings together experts in medicinal chemistry, structure-based drug design, computational chemistry, emerging drug targets, and novel technology platforms. The proposed conference remains unique with respect to the breadth of participants and focus on new approaches to discovering drugs.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The organizers encourage the submission of scientific abstracts for both oral and poster presentations. Abstracts (not more than 300 words) must include Manuscript title, Author(s), Affiliation(s), contact details, with a clear indication of research work, methodology, major results and conclusions in the following format: -12pts; Type- Times New Roman; Spacing- 1.5.Abstract should be submitted in MS Word format via email to itdd2021@gmail.com on or before 30.03.2021. Poster size = 3 ft wide and 4ft high (36 in W and 48 in H). Abstract will be accepted only from registered delegates. Visit website for the full length article template. Organizers encourage the participants to submit the full length research/review articles which will be published in a book with ISBN Number.
