Post Doctoral Research Position in PKNU (Busan, South Korea)
Pukyong National University (PKNU) is one of the best national universities in South Korea and located in Busan where beautiful beaches meet urban landscape. Professor Seung Yun Nam’s group in PKNU is currently looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher. His group, Integrated Regenerative Medicine Lab, has focused on advanced 3D bioprinting, rheological analysis of biopolymers, and development of novel bioinks (www.namlabpknu.com).
- The area of recruitment: bioprinting, biopolymer, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
- Salary: approximately $35,000-$36,000 (40,000,000 Won) per year (monthly about $2,400 after tax and standard deduction)
- A copy of PhD diploma should be included in the application (PhD candidates cannot apply for the position)
- Incentive pay for publications ($800 for each publication after completion of the required numbers)
- Requirement: 3 publications as a first author by Aug 31, 2022 (a review paper can be counted). The requirement needs to be met only for the first year due to the support from the university and there is no requirement from the second year.
- Initial contract for 11 months from Oct 1, 2021 to Aug 31, 2022 (extendable after completion of the requirement)
