1. Position &No. Project fellow (01)

2. Funding Agency Under DST-INSPIRE Faculty Scheme 

3. Title “A combinatorial approach for resistance to Fusarium oxysporum infection in banana by modulating secondary cell wall thickness and xylem specific expression of elicitor protein Sm1” 

4. Qualifications Essential: Minimum 55% marks in M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Botany/Zoology/ LifeSciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Bioinformatics(5% relaxation for reserved category) Desirable: Experience in Plant Biotechnology, Plant tissue culture and Molecular biology 

5. Duration of Project 1 year (extendable subjected to satisfactory work carried out by candidate) 

6. Monthly stipend Rs. 18,000 (Consolidated) 

7. Age limit (as on 30/11/2021) Upto 28 years for General category. Age relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST/ Differently abled/ women candidates and 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer).
