Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant in DST-SERB funded research project

Exploring the molecular insights and the role of mitochondrial changes during myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury and its recovery protocol in an experimental model of rat exposed to diesel particulate matter

Essential Qualification 

First class Master degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacy and Zoology 

Project Description 

The project explores the pathophysiology of myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury in rat exposed to PM2.5 from diesel exhaust. 

Desirable 

The applicant having documented experience from studies of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion in isolated heart models and/or in vivo models are preferred. Experience from laboratory methods including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, enzyme assays and cell cultures are preferred.

The candidate is expected to register for Ph.D. for this project work.
