A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 8th August, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the office of the
Head of the Department, Department of Biotechnology, NIT, Durgapur for the
following position.
Junior Research Fellow;
Fellowship will be @ Rs. 31,000/-
p.m. (No HRA is available).
Fellowship for this position is
available approximately for a
maximum period of 1 years & 6
months.
Based on the performance in the
project, the JRF selected will be
promoted to Senior Research
Fellow (SRF) position with a
fellowship of Rs. 35,000/- p.m. for
a period of 1 year.
M.Sc. in Botany /
Biotechnology / Microbiology /
Biochemistry or an allied area
with at least 60% marks.
Candidates should have a NET
qualification.
Research experience in
molecular biology and
microbiology & genetics will be
preferable.

1. The above position is purely contractual, and is for the duration of the
project only. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any regular
appointments/absorption in this institute.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. Candidates called for interview should come with original mark-sheets,
certificates etc.
