Appointment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for Science Engineering and Research Board, Govt. of India - Power Grant at SPP School of Pharmacy & Technology Management, SVKM’s NMIMS, at Mumbai.
Fellowship: Rs. 31000 + 30% HRA pm
Eligibility: M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Chemistry) any other allied field. GPAT or equivalent examination/NET qualified candidates will be preferred.
Candidates should have good knowledge of basic pharmacology. He/She should be well versed with cell culture techniques and microbiology techniques like bacterial fermentation, extraction and purification etc. Research Experience of 2 years in biotechnology is preferred. The candidate has to work on an interdisciplinary project involving microbes and cell lines.
Project Title: "Predicting the blood brain barrier permeability of gut microbes transformed low molecular weight marine poly(phenols) as attenuators of neuroinflammation via modulation of NF-κB signalling pathway."
Duration of the Project: 03 Years During this period, the candidate may join a Ph.D. programme in the university, subject to availability of seats and fulfillment of other essential criteria as per rule.
