Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) sponsored research project entitled “Development of a novel antibacterial and antibiofilm coating for biomaterial implants and medical devices” sanctioned to the undersigned.
Essential Qualifications: The Candidate must have passed the M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Allied fields AND have cleared GATE/NETJRF/lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test)/ICMR/Panjab University’s Ph.D. entrance test or any national level examination OR have M.Pharm degree with minimum 55% marks AND have cleared GATE/NETJRF/lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test)/ICMR/Panjab University’s Ph.D. entrance test or any national level examination.
Desirable Experience: Prior knowledge of computational studies, computational studies or microbiological techniques.
Emoluments/Fellowship: The selected candidate will be paid stipend of Rs. 31,000/- pm + 18% HRA as per Central Govt. / Panjab University Rules.
Duration: Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Candidate possessing the above mentioned Educational Qualification and are having a maximum of 28 years of age for JRF as on the date of the interview (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidate) may submit their application (on plain paper) to the undersigned along with detailed resume (with email, address & contact no.), attested copies of certificates and work experience or publications latest by 10th January 2023.
