Spices Board proposes to conduct a walk in test/interview for the selection of Senior
Research Fellows (SRFs) for engaging at Indian Cardamom Research Institute,
Myladumpara, Idukki, Kerala and Regional Research Station, Sakleshpur, Hassan District,
Karnataka under the ICAR-Spices Board Collaborative project entitled “All India Coordinated Research Project on Spices’’
No. of requirement Two Nos (One at ICRI, Myladudmpara, Idukki
District Kerala & One at, ICRI, RS, Saklespur,
Hassan District, Karnataka)
Stipend Rs.23,000/- + 10% HRA/month
Qualifications Essential : M.Sc (Botany)
Desirable:
1) Two years Research experience in Plant
breeding/Crop improvement on plantation
crops
2) Knowledge in experimental design and
layouts in the field
3) Computer Proficiency
Age Not more than 35 years as on 01.03.2023
Tenure One year from the date of posting, likely to be
extended
Nature of work The experiments envisaged in the project deals with
cardamom genetic resources, varietal improvement
programmes and evaluation of improved cardamom
clones to identify high yielding ones.

Instructions to the
candidates
Candidates appearing for the screening, should
bring along all the necessary documents given
below:
1. Passport size photograph
2. Original certificates for
a) Identity proof (Voter card, Aadhar
card etc.)
b) Proof of Age
c) Proof of qualification
d)Publications and training
certificates, if any.
3. One set of self-attested copies
of the above.
4. Eligible candidates may appear for
the test/interview at the venue on
the prescribed date & time.
Those who have not yet received their final degree
certificate need not appear in the test.
