Goyal Prizes and Rajib Goyal Prizes for
Young Scientists 2021–2022
Announcement
Nominations are invited for Goyal Prizes and for Rajib Goyal Prizes for Young Scientists for the period
2021–2022. These prizes are instituted to honour Indian scientists who have made a mark in research in
basic and applied sciences.
Prizes of these two categories are awarded in the following four disciplines.
1. Applied Sciences
2. Chemical Sciences
3. Life Sciences
4. Physical Sciences
While Goyal Prize in each discipline carries Rupees Two lakh in cash along with a medal and citation,
Rajib Goyal Prize for Young Scientists carries Rupees One lakh in cash along with a medal and citation.
Nominees for Rajib Goyal Prize for Young Scientists should not be more than 45 years of age on
31 December 2020.
Nominations should be submitted electronically/digitally via the Google form link
https://forms.gle/Z4qX4ducwj9CuSNR8. Also, one set of the hard copy of uploaded material be sent
through registered post to Prof. Sanjiv Arora, Convener, Goyal Prizes, Department of Chemistry,
Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra 136 119 latest by 30 June 2023.
The envelope should clearly
indicate the prize and discipline for which the nomination is made. Detailed information about the prizes is
