Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for the recruitment of Research Associate (1 No), that is purely temporary position under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi, sponsored Network Project (BT/PR40452/NDB/39/750/2020; dated02.09.2021) under the supervision of Dr. P. Santhanam, Associate Professor, Department of Marine Science, School of Marine Sciences, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli-24. 

Project Title Cell and Developmental Biology of Marine Organisms 

Project Sub-Title Developmental Biology of Marine Live Feed Organisms in Aquaculture 

Duration Two years/Co-terminus with project 

Essential Qualification Ph.D., in Marine Science/Marine Biology/Coastal Aquaculture/ Ocean Science & Technology/Marine Biotechnology/ Zoology/Animal Biotechnology/Fisheries Science/ Microbiology/Biotechnology 

Desirable Qualification Two years Research/Work experience in marine live feeds culture 

Emoluments 47,000 + 16% HRA pm 

Age Limit Upper Age Limit is 45 years (can be relaxed for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates as per Govt. of India norms)
