CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur invites online applications from the eligible and interested candidates for the following positions on purely temporary basis and co-terminus with the duration of the project as detailed below: 

Project Phenome India-CSIR Health Cohort Knowledgebase (PI-CHECK) (HCP-0047) 

7001 02 Positions 

Project Associate-I OR Project Associate-II 

35 Years as on 31-05-2023 

For Project Associate-I (I) 

Rs. 31,000 + HRA to Scholars who are selected through 

(a) National Eligibility Tests CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or 

(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (ii) Rs. 25,000 +HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above OR 

For Project Associate-II 

(i) Rs. 35,000 + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility TestsCSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or 

(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (ii) Rs. 28,000 +HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

Essential Qualification: For Project Associate-I M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology from a recognized University. 

For Project Associate-I M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology from a recognized University. 

For Project Associate-II M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology from a recognized University with two years of research experience in Universities / National Research Institutions/ Industry. 

Desirable Qualification: Clinical/human sample handling in COVID 19 testing labs and sero surveys, molecular biology techniques, biochemical and enzymatic assays, ELISA, hematology, and qRT-PCR.
