Name of the post: Research Specialist – Flow Cytometry
Number of positions: 1
Duration: 2 years (Provision of extension is available based on performance).
Qualifications: Masters degrees in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Bio medical Science with 2 years of prior research laboratory experience. Bachelors degrees with more than 5 years of Flow Cytometry experience will also be considered.
Experience: Immunophenotyping by flow cytometry is a MUST. Candidates
with prior laboratory experience in handling clinical samples, following
aseptic procedures and ELISA. Previous experience with biomarker discovery,
statistical data analysis with organizational skills is preferable.
The role: The post holder will be primarily responsible to perform immunophenotyping and multiplexed biomarker analysis, clinical sample processing and their bio-banking, flow cytometry, custom ELISA, data analysis including statistics and participate in all the laboratory activities. Candidate will need to undertake common laboratory duties as responsibilities of this post. Appropriate training for sample handling, usage of personal protective equipment and performing experiments in biosafety lab will be provided to the candidate to fulfil the said role.

Research Fellow/Associate
Duration: Initially for one year and can
be extended by two more years.
Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biological
Sciences/Life Sciences/Bio medical Science
Experience: Candidates with minimum two
years of prior laboratory experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular
cloning technique is mandatory. Previous experience with stem cell work,
managing own research and administrative activities is a plus.
The role: The post holder will be
primarily responsible to perform cellular reprogramming and iPSC generation,
iPSC differentiation, clinical sample processing and their bio-banking and
participate in all the laboratory activities. Undertake other laboratory duties
as responsibilities of this post. The post offers the opportunity to become
proficient in the culture of fibroblasts, blood cell isolation and culture, vector
production, cellular reprogramming and iPSC generation.
